La velocit\u00e0 del vento \u00e8 maggiore sopra gli edifici che vicino al suolo. L'angolazione dei moduli FV determina una produzione di energia equilibrata nel corso della giornata. Con il posizionamento corretto, il flusso di vento accelerato sui bordi del tetto viene ulteriormente accelerato dai moduli FV e indirizzato in modo ottimale alla turbina eolica, con un effetto esponenziale sulla produzione. I dieci o pi\u00f9 moduli fotovoltaici da 700 watt possono generare fino a 5000 kWh o pi\u00f9 all'anno, a seconda della posizione geografica, dell'orientamento e dell'ombreggiamento.<br \/>I moduli fotovoltaici verticali hanno il vantaggio di essere difficilmente coperti da neve, polvere e sporcizia e di poter sfruttare meglio la radiazione solare piatta nelle ore centrali della giornata e in inverno.
