Harvesting from wind
Our turbine has recently started running and is already providing reliable electricity for the farm. It's good to use our own wind and not just be dependent on the grid. It is particularly important to us that it also provides electricity in winter, in bad weather and in the mornings and evenings - exactly when we need it most. Wind power is a great fit for our business and brings us a good deal closer to our own energy supply.

Energy that matures
Sustainability is part of our everyday life - from the milk to the finished cheese. With the new wind turbine directly at the farm, next to the solar system on our roof, we are now making this visible. Wind power complements our energy supply perfectly: it supplies electricity when the sun takes a break - in winter weather, at night and during storms. For us, this is a real benefit and a clear sign of responsible craftsmanship with a future.

Future in the house
The hybrid wind-solar small power plant PowerPyramid from NewGreen Tec has been running like clockwork since it was installed in my residential complex in Zurich and in construction pilot projects at the Umwelt Arena, the excursion destination for sustainability and competence centre for innovative building and living. With the combination of wind and solar energy, we are also optimally supplied at night and in bad weather and are significantly less dependent on the grid. I am particularly pleased that the innovative solution can be viewed in our exhibition in the Umwelt Arena - a real step towards the future.
